ELIZABETH (BETTY) BOYES With broken hearts, our family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma on June 16, 2017, at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 94 and one half years. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, of 55 years, as well as her sister and brother. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Janice, Robert and Ronald, her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. For four years prior to meeting Frank, Betty was a Staff Sargent in the Army. She then moved into book keeping and stenography. Betty and Frank married in 1949 and raised their family in the St. James area. They were known to enjoy summers at Falcon Lake for many years. Betty had many interests and hobbies such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, travelling and golfing. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Deer Lodge and Grace Hospital for their care of our mom. Following many health concerns, Mom you are finally at peace. You will forever be missed and always in our hearts. The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
