Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES ALAN PRENTY Passed away at age 86, in Qualicum Beach, BC, on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Alan was born on August 6, 1930 in Winnipeg, MB and after a brief stint in St. Thomas, ON, spent the remainder of his life in British Columbia enjoying his passions of boating, fishing, woodworking, and Canadian art. A lifetime pressman, he retired from Pacific Press in 1990. Alan was predeceased by parents, James Roy and Doris Evelyn (nee Dempsey), wife June Patricia (nee Marshall) in 2006, and sons Gregory and Michael. Alan is survived by sisters, Patricia Moore and Veronica Kitt and families, Desmond and Kevin, daughters Janet Brault and Monica Summers, and their families. Donations may be made to the June Prenty Memorial Trust Fund c/o UBC School of Nursing or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
