He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nina, daughters, Debbie and Bev (Bal), sons, Phil (Sharon) and Robert (Heather), as well as grandchildren, Kris (Mike), Chelsea (Kirk), Andy, Kyle (Ally), Morgan (Amber), and Casey and Hunter Lake, and great-grandchildren, Angelina and Aidyn. He is also survived by his sisters, Dolly and Thelma (Don), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and predeceased by his brothers, Albert and Elwood and sister Irene. Stan was born in 1928 to Jens and Astrid Olson in Inwood, Manitoba. He took his plastering apprenticeship in Winnipeg and began his career there before moving to Victoria in 1954 where he started Stan Olson Plastering. Fishing and golfing took up a lot of his spare time back then. Stan was an avid card player and anyone who visited would spot his big shiny cribbage board before he said hello. There will be no funeral by request. Stan bids adieu to his friends and neighbours and everyone who touched his life along the way.
