DENNIS (JIG) MICHELL May 22, 1963 - June 27, 2017 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dennis, surrounded by his loving children and partner, on June 27 at the age of 54. Better known as Jig, he was a beloved friend to many. His passion for life, contagious smile and laugh will be deeply missed by all. Left to mourn are his partner Mary Dubuc; sons Michael Harris (Amber) and Devin Manyheads (Christy); daughter Michelle Houle; grandchildren Jennifer, Gage, Adam, Jazmyn, Julieanna, Zoey, Darian and Karnal; great-grandson Austin; siblings Raymond Hourie, David Michell (Denise), Wayne Michell (Velma), Douglas Michell, and beloved sister Wanda Churchill (Allan). Dennis was predeceased by mother Bertha Michell, and brothers Sheldon and Raymond Michell. Also left to mourn are his stepchildren, stepgrandchildren, and his beloved step-great-grandchildren Sereniti and Ondray; as well as many aunts, cousins, and loving nephews and nieces. Dennis was loved by many including countless friends from Winnipeg, Peguis, and Calgary. All are welcome to attend services in his honour. Wake Service to be held Thursday July 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Eternal Grace, 1111 Logan Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Second wake service to be held Friday, July 7 from 7:00p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at The Peguis Church, Lot 25, Peguis, MB. Funeral Service to be held Saturday, July 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Peguis Church, Lot 25, Peguis, MB.
