PETER WIEBE It is with great joy that we announce that our father has gone to meet his best friend Jesus in Heaven (and his best BFF Frank Dyck). Peter passed away on July 6, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband to Mary (nee Giesbrecht) for 67 years; loving father to Terry, Judy, Rick, Wendy, Paulette and Shelly and their spouses; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Viewing took place on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clarke's Funeral Chapel, MacGregor. A Funeral Service was held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the MacGregor Sommerfeld Mennonite Church led by long time friend and Pastor Jake Buhler. Interment followed at the Sommerfeld Cemetery, Austin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peter's favourite charity: A Better World, Suite 103, 5033-52nd St., Lacombe, Alberta T4L 2A6. The family would like to express their many thanks to the staff of the MacGregor Care Home, for their care and compassion while Peter was in their care. Also to Dr. Omichinski for his care of Dad.
