VICTOR KOWAL Victor Kowal, of Winnipeg, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 85 years. Left to survive Victor are his wife of 58 years of marriage, Dianne, and sons, Marc (Ruth) of Brandon, MB and Todd (Donna) of St. Albert, AB. Victor was born and raised in Winnipeg's North End. He was a proud member of both the St. James and Winnipeg Police Departments. At the conclusion of his policing career, he worked for the Manitoba Lotteries Foundation, until retiring to golf. Victor enjoyed travelling and was an avid sports fan. In compliance with Victor's wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family wishes to acknowledge and express their gratitude to the staff at Riverview Personal Care Home, Poseidon Personal Care Home, and the Victoria General Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or a charity of their choice.
