EVELYN MORGAN It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Evelyn on July 19, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Evelyn has left us to join her brothers Paul, John and Tony, and her mother and father Alida and Wymer. She will be forever missed and cherished by her husband of 32 years, John, her daughter Brenda, son-in-law Jim, son Shawn and daughter-in-law Jeanette. Also missing Evelyn are her sister Joan (Bob), sisters-in-law Maureen and Mary (Chuck), stepchildren Bill (Louise), Brad (Vivian) and Susan, grandchildren Jason and Melissa, as well as many other extended family. Evelyn loved to travel. She and John enjoyed many adventures across Canada, the United States and Europe. Mom also treasured spending quality time with her family. Cherishing walks, time spent over a coffee or bonfires and barbeques. Mom was our rock, our source of unconditional love and support. She was shy, but everyone who met her instantly felt her kindness and compassion. We would like to thank Pastor Bruce for his ongoing spiritual support. We are also grateful for the care, compassion and kindness that was given to our mom and ourselves throughout these last few months by the medical teams and our family and friends. In keeping with Evelyn's wishes there will be no funeral service. If you so wish, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in memory of Evelyn. "I ask you please don't cry for me for when you think I'm finally gone I am the whisper of wind in your garden's leaves The meadowlarks music of evening song Don't search for me in the usual places You won't find me ever, here or there I will be the love in familiar faces For I am free, I am everywhere" For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 204-885-9715
