Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE IRENE MOLDOWAN (ROMANIUK) Nettie Irene Moldowan, aged 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Nettie was born on March 10, 1925 in Ukraine. When she was a small child her family immigrated to Canada where they eventually settled in the Edgebrook District - South of Kandahar, Saskatchewan. Nettie volunteered with the Canadian Air Force, mostly stationed at Stevenson Field. Following her service, she settled in Winnipeg and married Steve Moldowan in 1948. Nettie was a devoted mother and housewife. She took pride in, and enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren. Nettie will be greatly missed. Nettie was predeceased by brother, Nick, and sisters, Anne and Nina. Also predeceased by husband, Steve, and son, Richard. She is survived by sons, Randy (Samantha) and Ryan; and grandchildren, Ava and Alex. Private interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
