Marilyn, I will miss your infectious laugh, and your open smile. I will miss our weekly golf dates and everything in between. You left us so suddenly, I didn't have the chance to say goodbye. But I take solace in knowing you did not suffer and you left us in true Marilyn style. The world is now a sadder place, but richer for having had you in it. Goodbye, my Friend! - Posted by: Kathy Slezak (Friend) on: Jul 30, 2017

Dear Family and friends of Marilyn, Please accept my condolences on your loss. I have many fond memories of curling with Marilyn in the 1980's and 90's. We met at Fort Gary Curling Club as our team curled against hers. I had bought the house from her parents on Chalmers Avenue and asked Marilyn if she was related to Margaret and Alex Dixon. From that moment on we became close friends and I ended up curling together for many years. She even played baseball with us for a few years in Transcona. We drifted apart when we stopped playing together. Marilyn was loads of fun to be with. My memories of Marilyn are that she was always laughing and enjoying life. May Marilyn rest in peace. - Posted by: Wanda Grift (Friend and fellow team mate curler) on: Jul 30, 2017
