Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE GUENTHER (nee LESTER) The family is sad to announce the peaceful passing of Darlene Guenther on July 18, 2017. She is survived by her daughter Crystal Dow (Kyle), grandchildren Katherine and Tanner, son Nicholas Smith (Chantel), sisters Kathleen Mireault and Marcy Lester, stepfather William Timmers, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Darlene was an incredible artist, singer and writer with many creations in her given name “Little Cougar”. All that Darlene created was from love and the beauty she saw in nature and life itself. Her greatest love was her two children and grandchildren who will carry her memory forward in their hearts along with her family and friends. Her legacy is forever memorialized in her many pieces of art work and book. The family celebrated her life at a small gathering at 2:00 p.m. on July 31, 2017, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
