ANNE HALSTROM It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Anne Halstrom, on August 1, 2017, at the age of 83 years. As per her wishes she passed on at home, with family by her side. Anne is survived by her daughter Debbie Halstrom, sons Brad and Greg Halstrom (Janet), daughter-in-law Trina Veilleux (Paul), grandchildren Shayna Veilleux, Amanda Friesen (Justin), Adam Halstrom (Jennifer), Brian Halstrom and Maureen Germain (Joel), and great-grandchildren Hector Germain and Nicholas Friesen. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie, and son Jim. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in her honour. If friends so desire donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in gratitude for the excellent care received.

Well, I'm assuming this is the accordion master that I remember.............Mrs. Halstrom was my accordion teacher from the time I was about 6 years old which would be 1966 to 1976. I had relived an accordion lesson last night in my dreams and had the best night sleep in a long time.
