RENE PAQUETTE June 23, 1941 - August 3, 2017 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Rene Paquette, on August 3, 2017, at the age of 76 years. He will be greatly missed by his sons Jay (Shelli), Ric (Krista), and four grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Mykila and Landen. Also left with a heavy heart is his very special friend of many years, Connie Lavoie. Rene was predeceased by his parents Dominique and Flora Paquette. Rene spent over the last 20 years working and living in the Lac du Bonnet area. When he wasn't working he was spending time with friends and family. Rene forged many lifelong friendships, all who will miss his sense of humour, generosity and open door policy. You wouldn't be at his place more than five minutes before you had a Bud in your hand and you were staying for supper. A special thank you to Bruce and Sandi for their support and kindness. In keeping with Rene's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service and interment will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Rene's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Your life was a blessing, Your memory a treasure... You are loved beyond words And missed beyond measure.
