RICHARD PAUL CARREIRO Richard Paul Carreiro of Rose Bay, Nova Scotia. Born August 3, 1930. Died August 11, 2017. Survived by his beloved Shirley, his children, Paul (Agnes), Lisa (Sandi), Stephen (Marlene), Donna (Lawrence) and Linda (Richard), and seven loving grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, an adoring father and a doting grandfather. He was a unique and exceptional human being. He loved all humanity. Treated everyone with great respect. He was an educator, a poet, an artist and human rights advocate, "with not merely a mind and a heart, but unquestionably a soul." (E.E. Cummings). As per his request, his ashes will be spread on a field of daisies. A celebration of his life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
