I first met Cynthia at MPI in the late 1970s and became instant friends. Cynthia was so bubbly and could make you laugh. I moved to Alberta in 1980 and British Columbia in 1992 but we kept in touch. Anytime I would come to Winnipeg we would meet for lunch. I miss our friendship. Condolences to Barry and family. - Posted by: Janet Harwood (Friend) on: May 30, 2018

Cynthia and I met through work at MPI and I found her funny and a joy to be around. Visited her cottage a couple times and had fun fishing. At times we thought we were sisters cause we seem to have grown up with the same kind of upbringing. It was like we could read each other's minds when things were going on in our personal lives. We were there for each other by offering encouragement. Was great to have such an understanding friend. When I moved out of Winnipeg it was harder to visit but we still kept in touch via emails. Loved receiving them. Rest in peace and until we meet again. Love Brenda - Posted by: Brenda Grills (Co Worker at MPI and Friend) on: Aug 29, 2017

Cynthia was such a bubbly, kind person. She was a joy to work with. I still have a little tea light holder on my desk at work (MPI) that she had given me many years ago. My most sincere condolences to her entire family. - Posted by: Ilona McEachern (Co-Worker at MPI) on: Aug 29, 2017
