Elenita (Blondie) will forever be missed by her two sons: Froilan Cauyao and Leonard Crystoval (Alyssa); her daughter Misty Lutz (Ronnie); sisters: Laura Gonzales, Elizabeth Lutz (Terry) and Remedios Montorio (Dannie); sister-in-law Diane and Dale Neuls (Dale); grandchildren: Scott and Santana McKay (Francios), Kylie Crystoval, Phoenix Crystoval (Joleen), Reynold Almario, Lexie, Liam and Callie Diato, Alson and Allen Mira, Luigi and Lenard Villazor, Raigie and Raigene Malabanan; great-grandchildren: Xavier and Lilly; nieces and nephews: Rainier Malabanan (Gigi), Marty Villazor (Roland), Leah Diato (Carlo), Catherine Mira (Percival), Dashielle, Danielbert, Darryll and Danika Montorio, Whitney and Shayne Lutz; as well as many extended family in the Philippines. Elenita accepted the challenge of being the initial member of her family to come to Canada and worked hard to sponsor her parents, her sisters and her sons to live the Canadian dream. Elenita was the most caring, hardworking, strong, free spirited, talented individual, whose presence will be missed by all who loved her and everyone who crossed her path. Her smile was bright enough to lighten the darkest room. Her favourite pastime was dancing, but her beautiful voice was enough to make people stop and listen to her sing her favourite songs..."Sad Movies or Lady in Red". These attributes that Elenita possessed will truly be missed by all. Most importantly, Elenita was known to have the biggest heart and opened her home to anyone who was in need. She enjoyed hosting events, cooking the best meals for her family and friends and was known to be the life of the party. "I love you Ma", "I love Mom", "I love you Mommy". The family would like to send out a special thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre (CCU) for the exceptional care they provided our mom. My deepest condolences to Misty, Leonard and families. It is with a heavy heart I write this. I met Blondie while working at a personal care home. We had so much in common and hit it off right away. I loved her laugh, her energy and zest for life, the love and dedication for her children, grandchildren. Nothing was too much or too good for them. She was genuine What you saw is what you got. She was kind, generous, and loving to all, and there in a heart beat if you needed her. I enjoyed her cooking, singing, her smile, her classy way of dressing and those oh so high shoes. We lost touch after a series of tragedies in my life, but Blondie was never far from my thoughts. I ran into Toni and got Blondies's number about 6 months ago, and had planned to call and visit, then tragedy hit again. I lost my only son. As you can imagine that was and is hard. For some reason I can't stop thinking about Blondie, so I said pull yourself together contact her before it is too late. Of course I could kick myself now, but know her loss is deeply felt, she was loved and appreciated, and will always be thought of and remembered with joy and love. She was and will always be a great lady. Forgive me Blondie, Rest in peace and love Your friend always Jay - Posted by: J. Wendy Browne (Jay) (friend) on: Sep 16, 2017
