• I had the opportunity to work with Terry as one of her new Branch Managers in the Area she managed a number of years back. Terry's leadership style was such that she created opportunity for you to grow in ways you might not have thought you were able. She was there for you if you needed the support but had a way of helping you find the solution yourself. Those lessons I carry with me today, One quote of hers that comes to mind was "Darren we measure our success as leaders by the number of our staff that we're able to develop and move on to roles that are more suitable to their skills", She was a great leader and a wonderful individual who had a zest for life. Terry also knew how to put on great pool parties for her staff lots of great memories! My thoughts are with Terry's family during this difficult time. • We got to know Terry and family while they vacationed in San Jose del Cabo Baja MX at Villas Baja. We will miss her positive attitude and big smile and loving ways. • I first had the privilege of working with Terry in the early 1990's when I transferred from branch life at RBC to RBC Headquarters on Portage Ave. Terry was Manager of Marketing & Advertising and I, as a newbie in her department, felt like "a fish out of water". Terry's keen sense of humor and positive nature, helped in "thinking outside the box" when working on new projects - it was a great experience for me. She would hand me a new project to work on and with a big smile say, "I'm stretching you", Grace”. :-) <3 Terry not only passed on her knowledge but in using humor, she kindled enthusiasm. The time spent in her department brings back good memories to this day. Her open and inclusive nature enabled me to meet many new friends and colleagues, which I will always cherish.
