Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMBER WENTLAND March 16, 1975 - October 3, 2017 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Amber Marion Marie Wentland at the age of 42. She died in Winnipeg after a hard fought battle in the early hours of Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 16, 1975. Grew up in Grande Point and attended Collège Lorette Collegiate in Lorette. She moved to Winnipeg shortly before having her first son, where she lived for many years. In her 30s she lived in Moosehorn Manitoba. Moving back to Winnipeg after her father's passing in 2016. Amber was a wonderful person, with many talents and gifts. Her heart and her love for her family being the most obvious. She was always feeding a full house, including her dogs that held a special place in her heart. If you were lucky enough to try one of her chocolate chip cookies, you were hooked for life. She had a green thumb, always having an abundance of plants and gardens. She was always taking care of everybody. Her heart had no limits for what she would give for those she loved. She was predeceased by her father Danny, grandfather George and close friend Nina-Lise. She is survived by her mother Barb; her sons, Chris (Nicole), Alex (Ariel), and Brandon. Brother Nathan; grandparents, Marie Rowan, Marion and Bernard Wentland; grandson who meant the world to her, Drayden (and his little brother Dominyk). She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

Ia truly sorry to hear about the passing. I just learned of it, as we lost contact many years ago. She was a great person to be around and indeed always made everyone she was around smile. I know she loved her children and family dearly. Amber was the type of young lady that would light up a room. Always fun to be around. She always played with our cat and he loved her. Many evenings we would play games and snack.
