Dear Rachael, I was so sorry to read in the paper of your beloved husband's passing. What a huge life change for you and your kids; I am sending love and prayers to you all. The story I always remember you telling about Dennis is connected to the time you were changing your name. He apparently had a terrible time adjusting to, or accepting that you were determined to have him switch along with you. One day he was in the bathroom, and had run out of toilet tissue......He called and called you by your old name, but like the hard headed and wonderful woman you are, you refused to respond to his need until he called out "Rachael"!!! I know you will be surrounded by many hearts that love you as you navigate this changed time. With much affection, Bunty - Posted by: Bunty Anderson (colleague ) on: Oct 21, 2017

Dear Rachael... I was deeply saddened by the news of Dennis's passing. Please remember that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. I know that you will take comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he had together. Your husband was a very special extraordinary person, and the McBride girls next door will miss his kind spirit and neighbourly ways. A beautiful memory for us was the Kenneth Street dinner party that you graciously hosted, despite Dennis not feeling all that well. We were also grateful for the compassion and support that you provided for our Dad over the years. We could always depend on you and Dennis, no matter what you were going through with your own health issues. We regard highly your friendship and your remarkable inner strength. You know that we sisters will help in any way that is needed. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. -Sincerely and with love, Brucie Kusmack, Glen's eldest - Posted by: Brucie M.
