NAOMI W. SORENSON It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Naomi, our Mom/Grandmere/GG. She will be sorely missed by her family; daughters Meredith/Myke, Carie Jo (Jim); granddaughters Laura (Jason), Signi, Sarah (Drew), and grandson Theo, and by the lights of her life as a GG Hanna, Margot, Benjamin plus a new addition in April 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon and son-in-law Michael. Mom valued family, friendship and faith above all else. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue with Rev. Fr. Eric Giddins presiding. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Council of Canadians; anyone who knew Mom will understand why. Wojcik's Funeral Chapels in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. Naomi was a lovely lady and I always looked forward to talking with her when we met on the street. She loved to tell me about her daughters and grandchildren. She was so proud of them. She always asked about my family and was interested in hearing about how they were doing. I was so sad to hear about her passing. Unfortunately, I only heard about it about half an hour before the service and I was on my way to an appointment.
