Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • My condolences to Walter's family. I played hockey against Walter many times when we were youth. He was a great player. I lived and played in Amaranth. - Posted by: Dennis Isfeld (Fellow hockey player) on: Dec 25, 2017

  • I knew Walter from his days of playing defence with the Alonsa Aces. I would cheer for Alonsa in my boyhood days. He used to call me "mush". I also played in a few tournaments for Laurier against Alonsa. Walter was always friendly and easy going. A good guy. Lucky to have met you Walter. You and Wayne were a heck of pair on defence for Alonsa. - Posted by: Denis Letain (Friend) on: Nov 26, 2017

  • My sincerest sympathy Auntie Kathy, Jeff, Lee, Auntie Mary and Uncle Jim. There will never be a day when you don't think of him but as time goes by it becomes a little more bearable. I know from experience. Love from Kim & Brian - Posted by: Kim & Brian Gibbons (Niece) on: Nov 21, 2017

  • Hoping that the happy memories of the many years with Walter provide you some comfort now, with sincere sympathy, Edie and Ron - Posted by: Ron and Edie Maciura (Friend) on: Nov 20, 2017

  • Walter was a great person and always had a come back or something to say and could always make you smile. He was a great husband and his wife was a great lady. I will miss him and thank his wife for the great compliment she gave me. That’s why I love my job so much. RIP Walter - Posted by: Barb (Nurse from oakview) on: Nov 19, 2017
