Dear Debbie, I just read about the loss of your beautiful Mother. I remember as a child I would go into the hardware store and she always took the time to help me pick out the perfect Christmas gifts for my sisters and brothers. She was a very warm and kind person with a wonderful smile. I always enjoyed our time together. Please let your memories of the beautiful person your Mother was, console you in your time of sadness. - Posted by: Corrine Davies Blackmore (School Mate) on: Jan 15, 2018

The tribute to your mother presents a portrait of graceful and supportive presence, Deb. So much of her lives on in you. I hope the coming weeks and months are good to you and to other loved ones who benefitted from her presence in your lives. - Posted by: Linda Chernenkoff (Team member of Women's Committee for the RWB) on: Jan 06, 2018

Ken, Deb and family ... Please know how heartbroken I am about Auntie Eileen's passing. She had a good long life and I'm so sad for those left behind. Auntie Eileen was a big, warm hug, full of life and love. She had a knack for making those around her feel special and welcome and wanted. She gave great advice over the years during our long distance phone calls. She made me fall in love with zucchini ... and gardening ... and cooking for a crowd. I loved how she said "Wednesday", and I'll miss her laugh. Sorry I can't be with you this weekend, but I'm there in spirit. Rest in peace, sweet Auntie. You were so loved and deeply admired. - Posted by: Linda Howard (Niece) on: Jan 05, 2018

Your Mom & mine were great friends, and I remember as couples all the times our parents were together through the Optimist Club, through curling, and spending fun times together.
