Greg was strait up. I was friends with him since 1965 or so. Greg was great guy with intelligence and integrity. I don't know what happened but certainly hope he went peacefully. My condolences go to his wife and children. - Posted by: Gayle Bessette (Work friend) on: Apr 26, 2018

I have just found out about the passing of my good friend Greg. My condolences to Karen and family. This is such a shock at a young age. From the day Greg started with CPR in Medicine Hat, we connected and continued that friendship, he will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends throughout his career with the Railway. RIP Greg the next game is for you. - Posted by: Les Shepard (Co - worker and good freind) on: Jan 24, 2018

I am so very sorry about this news of Greg. He was such a wonderful friend to my son Darrell, who loved him like a brother. Darrell as well as his brother Trevor and his wife Katie also send their condolences. I remember Greg from when he was about six or seven years old; kind, gentle and so friendly to all. It is hard to think he has left us so young. Our thoughts are with you all at this terrible time. - Posted by: Terry Lind () on: Jan 21, 2018

When I began work at CP Rail nearly 18 years ago Greg was one of the first people I met. Like many people have said, Greg was less of a co-worker, and more of a father figure, one that many new employees gravitated towards when first starting out. Greg was kind, patient, and knew how to tell a good joke and get laugh from anyone. Outside of work Greg was quick to help a friend, enjoyed getting together for a drink, or could be found on the links. Greg, you will always be respected, and missed. Thanks for the nickname bud, it means a lot. Rest now, we'll joke around again down the road. - Skippy- - Posted by: Andrew "Skippy" Royal (Co-Worker) on: Jan 20, 2018
