GLADYS LORENE GREEN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Gladys, on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Tuxedo Villa, at the age of 100. Her husband, Allen, whom she was married to for 72 years, passed away April 5, 2007. Remaining to celebrate her life are her daughter Mary; son Gerry (Johanna); grandchildren Darrel, Brian (Janet), Lori (Charlie); Christopher, Patrick (Shayla), Shannon (Richard); and great-grandchildren Megan, Jessica; Matthew, Brayden; Kennedy, Brody, Lexington; Evan, Holden and Blake. Gladys was born in Bladworth, Saskatchewan on March 10, 1917. In 1956, Mom and Dad and their children moved to Winnipeg, residing on Lindsay Street until 2007. Mom and Dad loved entertaining and enjoyed their vegetable and flower garden. They were always very welcoming. A beautiful life that came to an end She died as she lived - everyones' friend. Many thanks to the wonderful staff on Section 2, Tuxedo Villa for their excellent care and comfort of Mom. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow.
