EDWIN HILDEBRAND July 15, 1933 - February 6, 2018 Edwin Hildebrand was born July 15, 1933 in Halbstadt, MB and passed away peacefully on February 6, 2018 at the Poseidon Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Kellas; stepdaughters, Susan Turley and Audrey Turley; granddaughter Michele Shuster; sister Leona (Grant) Nickel; brother Elmer (Hilda) Hildebrand; brother-in-law Glenn (Madge) Gorrell and nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his first wife Elizabeth Hildebrand and his parents, Jacob and Anna (Friesen) Hildebrand. Edwin was a long distance truck driver, finishing his career with Trimac Transportation Services. He was a proud, long-time member of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Following his retirement, he was a volunteer driver with CancerCare Manitoba for 14 years and sang with the Seniors' Choral Society for 11 years. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend a very sincere thank you to the staff of the Poseidon Personal Care Home for their tremendous care and compassion.
