SHARON GWEN FARRAR Peacefully in her sleep, Sharon passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at the age of 76 years. Sharon is lovingly remembered by her children Karen, Darren and Denise; as well as her sisters Denise, Janet and Donna; grandchildren; and her large extended family. She had a deep faith in God and we take comfort in knowing she is rejoicing right now, being reunited with her husband Lloyd, her mother Flo, and numerous family and friends. Oh, what a party it will be in heaven. And Sharon did love her parties! Backyard barbecues and spending time with family and friends, especially Victoria Arms Seniors Club, and Brian and the gang at Seel Carpet Cleaners, were one of her greatest joys. We will all miss our angel (and her gingerbread cookies) dearly. At a later date, a celebration of her life will be shared by family. A special thank you to the staff at Oakview Place for their kindness and compassion. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. alzheimer.mb.ca Wojcik's Funeral Chapels & Crematoriums, 2157 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg 204.897.4665 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com

  • We send our deepest sympathy to your entire family, Sharon had such a huge heart always finding the good in others no matter what. She enjoyed being with her family, friends & co-workers, she loved her job, bowling, going to Brandon to bowl in the tournament's, bingo and baking, she always talked about Lloyd, her kids and grandchildren. I can still see her face the way it lite up when she was planning a dinner with her family and grandchildren. • Sending deepest sympathy to all of Sharon's family, you have lost one great lady. My husband, Lyle, and I went on many bus trips with Sharon and Lloyd, trips Sharon arranged. I will always remember her gingerbread cookies which she made for every one on the bus. Sharon was a wonderful, gracious lady and will be truly missed by so many. Rest in peace, great lady. - Posted by: Doreen Buss (Friend) on: Feb 28, 2018
