DARCIE DAWN BOYES With broken hearts we announce the passing of Darcie, at the age of 44, peacefully in her sleep. She was predeceased by her father Dave. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband Dave; mother Fay; sons Jon and Darryl (Chay-Anne); grandson Isaac; cousins Neil (Corrie) and Dorothy (Kevin); nieces Jessica and Samantha, as well as her extended four legged family Buzz, Jett, Jax and Leif. Darcie spent her early years in St. Marks and there she developed her love of the outdoors and animals, of which she had numerous different pets. She loved to swim with her dad and spending time playing street hockey with her grandfather. Darcie's first job was at the Winnipeg Arena where she made lots of lifelong friends. In her later teens she worked at Georgie's where she met the love of her life Dave and made more lifelong friends. Most recently she has been employed with American Biaxis where she has again made numerous friends. Darcie really cherished Christmas time and singing carols with her family and spending time with loved ones. Darcie's passion was music and especially loved to experience this with close friends and loved ones. She particularly enjoyed the annual trip to the USA for the Moondance music festival. "Family was extremely important to Darcie and became more complete when she became part of the LaMonica family." Memorial service will be held at Deer Lodge Community Club, 323 Bruce Avenue on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre. Darcie and I would always share a joke or laugh when she picked up ABI's mail at the front desk or in the mailroom. So sad to hear of her passing, at such a young age too. Hope you keep the angels in Heaven laughing, Darcie. Sincere condolences to the family. Ruth - Posted by: Ruth Rogers (former co-worker) on: Apr 06, 2018

I am so saddened by this news. I worked with Darcie so many years ago at Georgie's and remember many fun times that we spent together. Fargo, Velveeta shells, online chatting... Darcie always lit the room with her infectious smile and was truly one of the kindest people that I knew. Her laugh and genuine way of being will stay with me, as will her memory. My condolences to Dave, her family, and her countless friends. - Posted by: Angie Tucker (Friend ) on: Apr 04, 2018

My heart breaks completely at the news of Darcie's passing. I've known Darcie since I was 12 when she first befriended my sister when we all worked at the Arena together. She was an amazing person who always had a smile on her face and made you feel good to be around her. You are missed. My deepest condolences to her family. - Posted by: Nadia Selby (Friend) on: Apr 04, 2018
