IDA YAEL BROWN (nee IDA CAMPBELL WEES) February 3, 1932 - May 28, 2018 O God, I seek You, my soul thirsts for You. As a dry and weary desert land, my soul thirsts for my God, and my flesh is faint for God, for Your love is more to me than life. Ida passed away suddenly at home. She will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Brown, son Charles and daughter Monica Poschadel and great-granddaughter Shilah. She is survived by her son Ernest; and daughters, Eileen and Charlotte; and her brother Ian Wees, his wife Eleanor and son Eric, and eight grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren. She will rest at Assumption Cemetery at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St Mary's Cathedral (353 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB) Ida was a very active member of St. Mary's Cathedral, so in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Mary's Cathedral.
