KATHLEEN GROCHOLSKI 1960 - 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathleen Grocholski (nee Witoski) on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the age of 57, at St. Boniface Hospital, with family by her side. Kathie, as she was known to family and friends, was a loving wife, mother and dear friend to many. Kathie will be remembered by her husband of 35 years, Gerard Grocholski and their two children, Bryan and Allie Grocholski, her two brothers, Terry (Jani) Witoski and Chris (Val) Witoski, her sister Laurie (David) Kaminski, many nieces, nephews and very close friends. Kathie was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Joan Witoski. Kathie loved to travel at every opportunity, especially to Las Vegas with her husband and close friends. She enjoyed going to concerts, movies, shopping and loved sports. You could see Kathie dancing to music at social events. She did not allow her ailments to stop her from enjoying life to the fullest. The family would like to thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. The celebration of Kathie's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on June 26, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lupus Canada.
