GLENN SHAWN BOTT It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental and sudden passing of Glenn Bott in the rural municipality of Ste. Anne on September 2, 2018, at the age of 36. He leaves in mourning his beloved wife Cosette Dorge Bott, his son Noah (eight years old), his daughter Kalianne (four years old), as well as their unborn child. He also leaves his mother Debra Trahan (Keith), his father Michael Bott (JoElla), his parents-in-law, Colette Sabourin Dorge and Jacques Dorge, his brother-in-law Danys Dorge (Kimmie); his three sisters, Faith, Mika and Gracie, and countless other family members and friends. Born near Lafayette, Louisiana, Glenn was drawn to Manitoba in 2006 to pitch for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. The avid outdoorsman quickly fell in love with the landscape, the people, and a French Canadian girl. The couple married soon after and later moved to the countryside where they built their home and their life together. Glenn, a creative, passionate and talented hard-worker, went on to run a stucco company. He was an indiscriminately kind and generous, genuine, enthusiastic and compassionately thoughtful husband, father and friend. Always cheerful, Glenn was often heard saying "I love my life." A non-denominational and informal celebration of Glenn's life will be held at the Curling Club in Ste. Anne, Manitoba on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Those who knew him loved him, and are invited to share stories at this gathering. You changed our world for the better; you will be deeply missed.
