SUE MURRAY It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Sue, with her family by her side, on the morning of September 6, 2018. Mom was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on January 22, 1953, but she lived most of her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mom grew up going to the family cabin in Minaki, Ontario and it is where she met her husband Rob. She spent full summers at the lake with her family enjoying family boat rides, lunches on the veranda, an afternoon swim in the lake, and all the animals that would stop by to visit. Animals of all kinds were always welcomed and loved by Mom. There was always room for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, birds, squirrels, or anyone else needing "rescuing". No animal would ever go hungry or without a treat on Mom's watch. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Belle and Herb. Mom will be remembered forever by her husband Rob, of 42 years; her two daughters, Robyn (Cory) and Holly (Frank); her granddaughter Charlie; her sisters, Bev (Ken) and Lori (Keith); and brother Tom (Dennika). No service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, a donation may be made to Mom's favourite charity, The Winnipeg Humane Society, or to a charity close to your heart. All of us, including Abbey, Harley, and Jake, will miss you Mom. LECLAIRE BROTHERS 475 Provencher Blvd., in care of arrangements, 204-775-2220

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I am shocked and saddened to hear of Sue's passing. She was a forever friend, we did not see one another as regularly over the past 10 years but I thought of her often. I ran into Sue just before Christmas last year, at Bulk Barn, I was buying baking items....she was buying birdfeed! She told me all about Charlie and I got caught up on the Robyn and Holly news. My heart goes out to you Rob, Robyn, Holly and your extended families, you are on my mind and in my thoughts. - Posted by: Donna Edmundson (Friend) on: Sep 11, 2018

  • Our hearts are filled with sorrow to learn of Sue's death. She will always be remembered as that sweet young girl and the "favorite baby sitter". Our condolences to the entire family and also to Bev, Lorie and Tom. The Burns Family - Connie, George, Deanna and Allyson - Posted by: Connie Burns (Neighbor and friend) on: Sep 10, 2018

  • Dear Rob, Robyn, Holly and family. We were saddened to read of Sue's passing, much too soon. We immediately thought back to the "good old days" when our girls played baseball together. Sue was always involved and supportive of Robyn and Holly and the many hours spent on the ball diamond. It was very obvious how much Sue loved her family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences at this very sad time. God Bless. - Posted by: "Porky" and Linda Kachur (friends) on: Sep 09, 2018

  • We are shocked to hear of Sue’s passing. We always remember her driving that station wagon, dogs in the back, driving Holly to basketball games. - Posted by: Glenn & Joyce Matsumoto (friend) on: Sep 08, 2018
