DAVID BRUCE WAHL Bruce was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 16, 2018 at the age of 68. Cherishing his memory are his wife Shirley, of 37 years; his son Christopher; his daughter Maegan (Ben) and his beautiful granddaughter Amelia Jane (AJ); his stepsons, Jamie and Kelly; his brothers, Leonard (Lorraine), Wilfred (Judy), Leslie, Freddy (Gail), John (Betty), Garry (Pat) and Raynard (Judy); as well as his mother-in-law, Vera; his sisters-in-law, Deb and Bev (Richard); his brother-in-law Joe (Bernie); along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Lena; his brothers, Melford and Henry, and his father-in-law Joe. Bruce was incredibly hard working in his profession as a plumber and loved to work in his garden and yard, having a beautiful, prolific harvest every year. Besides his family, the most joy he received was from his church family at Bronx Park campus of Church of the Rock. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Rock, 1397 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre for their incredible care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Dear Shirley, Christopher, Maegan & all Bruce's loved ones. We were so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing & are praying for you, for God to provide comfort. Just wanted to say 'what a beautiful celebration of life' service. We were uplifted and so pleased that he had come to salvation. We so enjoyed the whole service. Christopher, Maegan & Raynard gave beautiful eulogies - very difficult under such circumstances. The gathering after was so enjoyable & a very nice spread put on. We enjoyed seeing & greeting everyone. Thank you, Marg Wahl/Jerry Dennis & the 'other' Wahl family - Posted by: Marg Wahl (Cousin) on: Oct 12, 2018
