APRIL ANNE JOYCE CARRICK (nee CARDINAL) July 26, 1969 - September 25, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of April Anne Joyce Carrick (nee Cardinal) our beloved Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and Friend. April is survived by her children, Cornell Jr., Deborah and Walter (Andrea). She will forever be loved and missed by her grandchildren, Tristan, Dayson, Alijah, Haven, Daysiana, Ethan and Emily, parents, Victor and Joyce Cardinal, brothers, Alex (Irma) and Jamie (Sue), nieces, Michelle, Alexis and Bria, nephew Matthew, best friend Yvonne Spence also numerous aunts, uncles, family and friends. She is predeceased by her granddaughter Teelah-Blue McLean and grandmothers, Harriet and Myrtle. April was born in Winnipeg where she grew up and raised her three children, she liked reading, playing bingo and card games. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored dearly. Active pallbearers will be Alex Cardinal, Jamie Cardinal, Kelsey McLean, Jeremy McLean, Jerrod Spence and Ryan Spence. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Overnight wake service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her residence in Winnipeg starting at 5:00 p.m. Wake service will continue Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Eternal Grace Funerals located at 1111 Logan Ave. from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 also at Eternal Grace Funerals at 3:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.
