ANGELA SILLA It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Angela Silla on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Tuxedo Villa. Angela was born on December 10, 1924 in Scanno, Italy. In 1958, she immigrated to Canada with her husband Mario and son Nunzio. For many years, she worked as a seamstress at several locations in Winnipeg but retired early to take care of her two granddaughters. Left to mourn Angela are her son, Nunzio (Maria); granddaughters, Angela (Felix) and Francesca (Ryan); great-grandson, Daniel; sister, Mafalda who resides in Boston; sister-in-law, Fernanda Augellone; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Eternal Memories, 1501 Waverley Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Nunzio; I was so sorry to here that your mother has left us . I have fond memories of her from when I was a young boy . She always had a smile on her face . Her laughter was what I remember the most.Once again, I am so sorry . She has gone before us to lay a stone on the pathway to heaven . Carlo Macario .
