JEAN SOKOL
(nee VALVICH)
Jean was born in Dugald, Manitoba on April 20, 1927 and came to Winnipeg as a young girl at the age of 14. She worked at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, The Canadian Wheat Board and the Federal Government where she worked for 25 years.
Left to survive Jean are her husband Peter; daughters, Glenda (Blaine), Karen (Darren); her brother Stanley and two grandchildren, Marissa and Evan.
She was devoted to her family and had a very special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
A special thank you to the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their compassion and care during her time there.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
