JOANNE CATHERINE FISCHER
November 3, 1951 - May 31, 2019
Left to cherish her memory are her son Jonathon (Candace); granddaughters, Camilla and Julia; sister Jackie; nieces, Kaylee (Jay) and Keri (Les); and grandnephew Odin.
Joanne was a warm, kind, compassionate woman who always enjoyed sharing a laugh, a story or providing help to others. She had a tremendous passion for animals. Whenever a stray dog or cat found their way into her yard they were sure to be well looked after until she could reconnect them with their owner. She also had many pets of her own over the years that she loved to care for.
She was also very creative and took a lot of pride in her home. If she wasn't working on a renovation project, she was planning another one. She also loved tending to her garden. But, most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. They will forever miss visiting grandma's house and all the snacks she would provide.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg, MB at 11:00 a.m.
