ROBERT WILLIAM (BOB) BRUCE
September 26, 1930 - February 5, 2019

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Papa on February 5, 2019 at the Red River Place in Selkirk, Manitoba.
In keeping with Bob's final wish to return home to Clandeboye, a family graveside interment will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Clandeboye United Church Cemetery with Rev. Cole Grambo presiding. Coffee and fellowship to follow at Hunt's Roadhouse from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, James and Emily Bruce, sister Doreen Hunt, brothers, Donald and David; father/mother-in-law Theodore and Anna Boehmer, sister-in-law Grace (Sutherland), and brothers-in-law, Wilfred Hunt, Peter Yakimchuk, Stewart McDonald and Albert Boehmer.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary and their children; Shirley (Chuck) Rolland, Jean (Tim) Cameron and Robert (Nicole) Bruce; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Daisy Yakimchuk, Jean (Jim) Robinson and Betty McDonald (Henry); sisters-in-law, Helen Bruce and Doretta Boehmer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre and Red River Place for their excellent care of our dad and for guiding our family through a most difficult time.
