JUSTIN DAVIS
July 30, 1990 - June 17, 2019

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Justin Davis, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
He will be lovingly remembered for his quick whit, charm and ferocious appetite. His gift to us was laughter.
In his last years he worked for Keeyask in Northern Manitoba saving his money making plans for his future and has left us with many treasured memories.
He will be sadly missed.
Justin is survived by his mother Lydia Empringham (Randy); sisters, Charity, Lore (Cass), Kyla (Chuck), Sheena, Jodie and their families; grandparents, Josef and Ingrid Pillmann; great-grandmother Ursula Horning (Germany); nephews, Nico and Nathaniel; aunts and uncles, Barb and Ernie Gerard, Vesna and Brad Harland, Blanka Pillmann, Kim and Eileen Davis, Debbie Willems, Abe Rempel; cousins, Stan, Kris, Jessie (Melissa), Milika and Katyca, Krissy, Cathy, Alex and their families; and countless family in Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ontario.
Honourably mentioned Nino, Louis, Ashley, and the Bergson family. Thank you to the numerous friends who have mentored and supported Justin in life. You are champions.
Justin was predeceased by his father Mark Davis; grandparents, Hannelore Pillmann, Nina and Jim Alsop, Auntie Rebecca Hrncic, and niece Zoey Allan.
Justin has been cremated and will rest in his hometown of St. Genevieve where he had a happy childhood. Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held in St. Genevieve, MB graveyard with refreshments in the Rec Center next door across the street from his childhood home on Sunday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. Please join us to remember and celebrate our beloved Justin.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to MB Mental Health Services, a suicide prevention or addiction program of your choice.
May we together break the stigma of mental health illness and addiction to provide help to our loved ones in need.

Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Justin was a great guy. I met him through a mutual friend, and we quickly bonded and began to spend time together. He always was there for me when I needed advice, and his easy-going nature and kind heart were evident to everyone that knew him. Even though we drifted apart once he started going up North for work, once or twice a year, we would chat, catch up, and meet up for dinner. Justin's loss hurts as I occasionally think about him and our shared experiences - he is sorely missed. - Posted by: David Krause (Friend) on: Jun 11, 2021

  • "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” ❤ - Posted by: Sheena (Sister) on: Jan 03, 2020

  • You cheered me up during those long shifts at Keeyask. The friendly kid at batch I called him,so many names to remember. Was always happy to hear I was working with him. Made the nights fueling fly by. His absence at work was noticed, he made Keeyask a better place to work. - Posted by: Chris Roos (Co-worker) on: Jul 04, 2019

  • Justin was a wonderful child and a sensitive and articulate young man. We are mortified and heartbroken. No words could express or describe Justin. He lived by his heart. So kind sincere and genuine, so rare. We will miss him, and forever cherish our memories. May the Creator give us strength to overcome this tragedy. - Posted by: Vesna and Brad and Family (Aunt uncle and cousins) on: Jun 22, 2019
