I am so,so sad to lose my friend. I worked for Robert for 8 years and along with him accusing me of "mothering him and always worrying about him" I will miss him terribly. Robert was so very good to me,we spent many hours talking and laughing (when we should have been working) but he didn't mind one bit. Robert was such a good person who gave me good guidance with no judgement. I love you my friend and will miss you so very much. - Posted by: Shannon Zelmer (Friend and work partner) on: Jul 12, 2019

Always the gentleman through school and on. We were friends as adults when we lived on Seekings and many great visits. Safe journey for a kind soul. - Posted by: Sue-Ellyn Rempel nee James & Jac Rempel (Friends from Grade 5 in Headingley) on: Jul 12, 2019

We will deeply miss Bob and his sense of humor. He was always quick and helpful to any issue or question. We were forever chatting what was going to happen with the Jets, our chats will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. Wishing Bob's family our sincere condolences. He will be gravely missed. - Posted by: Paul & Dawna Massey (Business Associates and Friend) on: Jul 10, 2019

Bob was so generous, kind, funny. I always looked forward to having good conversations with him when he came to pick up packages at The UPS Store. He always asked about my family and gave us the opportunity to see the Jets play saying, "Take your son and enjoy the game on me!" and then he would walk out the door off the store. Bob always teased me and I gave it right back! And then we would laugh at each other. I will miss him for a very long time. - Posted by: Nicole Coad (UPS Store) on: Jul 10, 2019

We have known Bob over 20 years and we developed a close friendship along with our business ventures here in Vancouver, BC. He was one of the most kind and bighearted guys you could ever meet he helped my wife and I many times and also mentored us in learning what we know today in the business world. You will be very missed but I am glad you can now rest well my friend. Maxine and I will never forget you, thanks for EVERYTHING. - Posted by: John De Vila & Maxine Julien (Friend and business associate) on: Jul 08, 2019

My husband Rick and I have been friends with Bob for more than 30 years. He helped us out many times when we were building our house, he watched our children grow up (Ricky and Alivia) and he was a business associate with Rick. Every Friday night for over 30 years we went out for supper with Bob, and other friends....Friday night will not be the same without him. But the thing that Rick and I will miss the most about Bob is his friendship. We always knew that he would be there for us no matter what. Bob would have gone to the moon and back for any of his friends. He will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Rick and Penny Gogush (Friend) on: Jul 06, 2019
