It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Ellison, at Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 87.
Marion was predeceased by her loving husband Bruce (March 1, 1928 - October 13, 2018), her parents and siblings, David, Anne (Doug Bogle), Richard (Barbara) and Kathleen (Joe Senoner). Left to cherish her memory are her brother Eric (Bonnie), children, Diane (Peter), Donna and Bob (Jan); grandchildren, Shawn (Susan), Michael (Kristie), Stacey (Mauricio), Carolyn (Keville), AJ (Vanessa), Christina and Brianne; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Levi, Carson, Matthew, Jacob, Diego, Esteban, Joshua, Quinten and Xavier, brother and sister-in-law Jim and Shirley Ellison, and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion was born in Montreal, Quebec on October 30, 1931 to Arthur Erik Lilly and Gertrude Marie Louise Lilly (Farnsworth). She married the love of her life, Bruce, on July 14, 1951. They moved across Canada over the years with Bruce's work with Westroc, but settled in Winnipeg in 1978. Her joy was found in caring for her family and in keeping their home immaculately spotless. She loved to give gifts, especially to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her brother Eric and his wife Bonnie held a very special place in her heart.
A private family service will be held.
