YVONNE HOGLE

It is with sadness, but also thankfulness, that we announce the peaceful death of Yvonne Corbet Hogle at the age of 95 on August 7, 2019 at Lions Personal Care Centre.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be greatly missed.

  • Our cousin in Winnipeg notified us of Yvonne's passing. She knew of the great friendship that Yvonne and our mother Eileen had from their twenties as a result of their husbands being high school buddies. It was always a pleasure to see Yvonne when she visited Calgary. Interesting conversation and a lot of giggles. Maybe a few drinks too.   • To Yvonne’s family, I met Yvonne in 1985 in Hong Kong. As my Dad has an unknown soldiers headstone, there was one next to your uncle's headstone so that’s the one I chose. Yvonne and I placed our flowers side be side and paid our respects. We stayed friends after that. A great lady and friend.
