Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I met George through the Westshore Singers and Betel Home, both in Gimli. His humour and good nature always warmed my heart, and I missed him when he moved to Winnipeg. We kept in touch for a little while, but it ended too soon. He will be fondly remembered in my memory. George, I hope you will forever change the lyrics to songs to suit your fancy! - Posted by: Joanne (Fellow choir member) on: Sep 12, 2019

  • George was a great teacher. He mixed personal stories from his CNR surveyor days with complicated curve problems and was able to explain the solutions in different ways so most of us in the class would understand. George was very active in the community and just one of those really decent guys. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Peter Isaac (former student ( Class of '77)) on: Aug 26, 2019
