JOHN JOSEPH KENNEDY
He leaves us with wonderful memories, his life lived full of love and laughter and with a generous smile he opened his heart in love and friendship to many.
Family celebrating John's life are wife Linda Cran; daughter Sherri Bartel and husband Gerald Bartel; daughter Tracey Cechvala and husband Alan Cechvala; special daughter Brenda Lee Cran and husband Scott Spearman; Bartel and Bergen grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; many friends; and the friends he met often for morning coffee and laughter.
John was blessed with the love, laughter, and life he shared with Linda and her family, and Linda's grandchildren Grace and Amy who John so adored, and who adored him.
John played many roles in his life and found pleasure in life as a hunter, hockey player and musician. He was a man who demanded respect and while he grew to become a more mellow and roll with the punches kind of guy, he walked proudly to a challenge and to be heard. John's gift was the way he reached out to others with humour to make you feel special, and sharing a joke at your expense, knowing you were now friends.
We raise our glasses to you John, our husband, dad, uncle, papa, great-papa, and friend as you leave us with full hearts and enduring memories and feelings of your warmth, humour, and spirit.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Paroisse Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Avenue, Winnipeg MB with Father Armand Le Gal presiding.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances of John may be made in the form desired by friends and family.
