I started to try to write a couple of weeks back and couldn't think of anything to say that could make her family feel better. Then I realized there is really nothing I could say that can do that. She was a big part of your lives and there is nothing that anyone can say, there is only time that will help. When I get asked about Angie, I tell people that I feel like I was one of the lucky ones to have met her and stayed friends with her for over 30 years. I have so many memories, good, funny, beautiful, and sad to look back on when I am I reminded of her and I know I was blessed. She was such a wonderful woman and I got to call her my friend. I also love that I got to know her parents, her brother, her sons, and her husbands through the years and appreciate that when I see them we all share in the love and the loss, but also share in the blessing of having her in our lives. One of the things I talked to my boys about when Angie passed was how happy Colton made her first when he started growing his hair, but especially the day she got to cut it. The day Angie told us that her cancer had come back I knew it was time for her to cut his hair, and it was a good day for her. I told Colton and Lance that I was so proud of them that for all of her good and bad days in her fight, we were able to give Auntie Angie one of her good days. Every memory I have of her now I know I hold more dear. I often think of her and miss her, and think of her boys and Shawn and her family, I know all missing her so much. As Angie would say, 'hugs'. - Posted by: Jody (Poder) Verrier (Friend) on: Feb 17, 2020
