ROSEMARIE ELFREIDA ROSOLOWSKI
(nee YANKE)

It is with profound sadness and a great sense of loss that we share the passing of Rosemarie Rosolowski, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She passed away peacefully on February 5, 2020, at the age of 73.
Rose will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Morris; her three children, Chris (Amanda), Craig, Karen; grandchild, Adelyn; and sister, Geraldine (Edwin). She was predeceased by her parents, Christian and Elfreida Yanke; and her brother Mervin.
Rose was a devoted mother who enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with her walking groups. Rosemarie had a lengthy career in nursing, including 25 years at Standard Aero as an occupational health nurse.
In keeping with Rosemarie's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a memorial service at a later date.

  • Thank you Rosemarie for all your years of great care and teachings. We are ever so thankful. Thank you to her family for letting us all spend so much time with her and under her care. She taught us many things, I remember her putting us on teams and teaching is first aid safety, to getting me band aids and helping me rest when I wasn't well. Seems like yesterday I could March into her office and she would be there with a Tylenol and a smile. Been many years since I've seen Rosemarie. At retirement for sure. Blessings to her and her family. Lori Payne - Posted by: Lori Payne (Co worker, StandardAero) on: Feb 12, 2020

Even after she retired it was always a pleasure seeing her and talking with her at retiree functions and the Christmas party. Rose was always so alive and so positive and always made catching up with her an enriching experience. We wish your family comfort in her memory and want you to know that she left a positive and rewarding relationship with so many of us at StandardAero. • Dear Moe and family, I would like to send my deepest heartfelt condolences to you Moe and the family. Rosemarie is a cousin who I knew since I was a child, although we did not see each other except at Family Reunions, I remember picking her up from the train station with my family so that she could begin her training at the Royal Alex Hospital for nursing. Rosemarie was special to us because we got to know her and her kind loving ways. I was fortunate to be able to sit next to her at the last reunion for the BBQ dinner and get a good visit in as well as when Moe and Rosemarie came to Edmonton in the fall we had such a beautiful visit. I am so very sorry for your loss although it was inevitable it does not make it any easier. Loving thoughts to all of you, Cindy Steffen from Edmonton. - Posted by: Rosemarie Rosolowski (Cousin) on: Feb 09, 2020
