PERCY (SONNY) W. PIELAK
June 11, 1933 - February 12, 2020

Percy, aged 86, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on February 12, 2020, at St. Anthony's Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 86 years.
Percy was a long time resident of The Pas and worked throughout northern Manitoba as an electrical contractor with his own business, Mid-Can Electric Ltd.
Percy was active in provincial and municipal politics, serving 14 years as Town Counsellor, three years as Mayor, and being honoured with a lifetime membership with The Pas Chamber of Commerce.
Percy enjoyed life to the fullest; he often said his strength was due to his religion and practiced his worship to God in his own way.
Percy is survived by his wife Eva; their children, Chris and Lucyna; as well as his children, Gerald, Valerie, Sharon, Renee, Darren, Kelly, Lisa and Bill; his brother Frank; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Clara, as well as his children, Kathy and JP.
