THERESA MARIE GUILLEMETTE
(LAMIRANDE)

In loving memory of our mom, granny, and great-granny, born in 1932 in St. Norbert, MB. Mom made her journey at 87 on April 16, 2020.
Mom was raised in a large family in St. Vital on Warde Avenue. She was a quiet, hardworking lady. She worked many jobs - from Misericordia Hospital to sewing factories. That's where she got to model samples. She would laugh and tell us it was because she was slim and had a chance to show off her nice legs. She then started with home care where she retired from.
Predeceased by husband Marcel, son-in-law Gerald, parents, Zephrin and Yvonne, brothers, Doug, Morris, Paul, Gordie and Leo, sisters, Val, Josie and Florence.
She leaves to mourn her passing daughters, Gloria (Jim), Corinne and Michelle (Tim), grandchildren, Colin, Suzanne (Terry) and Tyler, great-grandchildren, Terrence and Gabrielle, brothers and sisters, Alida (Eugene), Edward (Leona), Ross (Lynn) Jeanette, Stella, Jimmy, Pauline and Diane, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to Dr. Law and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital.
As per Mom's wishes cremation has taken place.

We love you Mom, best Granny,
Curly Granny. Until we meet again.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom always seemed to catch us when we played hooky. Thought of you both so many times over the years. I grew up with Corinne and Michelle and moved away 32 years ago. I would love to get in touch with you gals if possible as I will be back in MB this summer (2023). Please email me if you receive this and are interested in catching up. - Posted by: E Lear (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2023

  • My family were very good friends with Teresa and Marcel. What a good person, hardworking, fun, generous! Loved them to bits! My condolences to the family, RIP. - Posted by: Maureen Palsson (Good friend ) on: Apr 25, 2020
