EDWARD PAUL DUCHEK
March 3, 1937 - April 30, 2020

Edward Paul Duchek was born in Winnipeg on March 3, 1937, and died peacefully in his sleep on April 30, 2020, at his home in Ladner.
Ed acquired his strong work ethic on the family farm in Grande Pointe, MB, before moving to BC in 1966 where he expanded his heavy-duty construction business and solved mechanical challenges - always without a manual. He enjoyed Dixieland jazz music, dancing and piloting his fifth wheel.
Ed was predeceased by his wife Moira (nee Meikle); and his big hugs will be sorely missed by his partner Sharon Marsh; children, David (Tracy) Duchek and Janice (David) Vanderwood; sister Jeanne Beauchemin, brother Frank (Adelina) Duchek, as well as five grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
We will be having a Celebration of Life when the circumstances allow, as Ed always loved a good party with family and friends.
