ANN MARGARET MCGRATH
(nee ISAACSON)
February 21, 1945 - May 24, 2020
Ann will be greatly missed by her husband Andy, of 56 years; four children, Tina (Glenn), Andrew (Jennifer), Lisa (Joe) and Ruth (Roberto); 11 beautiful grandchildren, Jason, Tayler, Deklin, Shayden, Bradley, Graeme, Brooklynn, Joey, Justin, Conor and Liam; and three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Isaiah and Serenity. Ann is also survived by her three siblings, Eric (Mary), Carol (Franky) and Paul (Catie), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ann was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, where she met and married the love of her life, Andy. Ann and Andy arrived in Winnipeg in 1971 to provide a better life for their children. Ann's passion were her children and grandchildren who she loved dearly. Ann was a proud life member of the Royal Canadian Legion #9 and a past member at the Manitoba Irish Association. Ann was full of life, always smiling and dressed to the "nines"! Her door was always open, it didn't matter who you were, she embraced everyone with open arms. She treated her childrens friends like they were all "one of her own", she was everyones "mom".
Ann loved spending time with family and friends. Singing, dancing and laughing. She was a "magnet" with an incredible force. She was full of life, lighting up the room when she walked in, she was a firecracker!
NANA - Strong, Kind and Loving.
We will cherish her memory.

BUT SHE IS BIG INSIDE"

Ann will be fondly remembered by our family for her kindness, her humour and her ability to make you feel so welcomed wherever you saw her. Fond memories of our families meeting in Dublin purely by coincidence; the singing heard loud and proud across Henry Street. Thoughts and prayers with you all. - Posted by: Patricia Campbell (Family friend ) on: May 30, 2020
