This women not only raised one generation of 4 girls then took on myself and decided to raise another one. I always had her attention when asking for help and she did a fine job raising me while I was probably the most difficult. Our early morning talks and weekend dinners together are something I will miss so dearly. I never thought you would leave me or what I would do without you. Your strength and warmth is something I will hold onto on my toughest days. You made so many friends everywhere you went and selflessly put other first. When I need you I will pray and forever feel so blessed to have you by my side now. Love you more and always grandma. 🧡 - Posted by: Amber Muir (Grand daughter ) on: Jul 04, 2020

Rest in peace my dear "church mom". I have lost track of the many years we sat together at Windsor Park United Church. Every Sunday I looked forward to your sweet presence. I will miss you so much. Condolences to all of Joyce's family. Sincerely Nancy Sulkers - Posted by: Nancy Aulkers (Friend) on: Jun 27, 2020

My deepest condolences to Lori, Barb, Donna, Sherri and your families on the passing of your Mother. Auntie Joyce was always positive, cheerful and supportive. She was the most non-judgmental person I have ever known. I will miss the laughter and reminiscing we shared at our "sleepovers" whenever I was in Winnipeg. Your mother was an amazing lady, and I feel privileged to have known her. I know you will miss her deeply. I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Carolynn J Mactavish (nee Hilger) (Niece) on: Jun 24, 2020

I remember very well the day that Joy dressed for her wedding when she married my Uncle Bob; I was just a child. I am thankful for the time we spent together when she, my Tia Joy (spanish for aunt) came to stay with Paul and me at our winter home in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Thank you Donna for making that happen. I cherish those early morning and sunset beach walks. Now we have another special angel to watch over us. Sincere condolences to Lori, Barb, Donna and Sharon. - Posted by: Linda Leonard (nee Muir) (niece) on: Jun 20, 2020
