JoAnne Dickinson, Interior Designer and former Instructor of Design and Art History at Algonquin College, passed away peacefully on Canada Day in the Ottawa home that she loved.
JoAnne grew up in Winnipeg with her sisters, Luise Avery, Leni Flamand and Diana Lafferty (deceased); proud daughters of German immigrant parents, Joseph and Frances Godde. She leaves family and her wide circle of friends with happy memories of a life lived and shared to the fullest, with a style and infectious enthusiasm that was uniquely JoAnne.
In true JoAnne fashion, she requested that her obituary be used to send a final message of love to those who have shared and enriched her life and who have been enriched in return.
As we remember JoAnne, picture her flying with the Angels and dancing with the stars.
